It's my privilege to announce to everyone here that iStockphoto's parent company, Getty Images has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Hellman & Friedman in a transaction valued at approximately $2.4 billion, including the assumption of existing debt. This means that, upon closing, Getty Images will become a private company, which gives us a great deal of freedom and with Hellman & Friedman behind us, we'll be just as strategic and decisive as we have been in the past, but more agile. You're probably wondering what this means for iStockphoto. Nothing and everything. I will still be here as your CEO. iStock's management will still be here and we remain committed and excited about our collective and creative futures.
