hi all,
i want to ask something,
do y know other stock footage sites than Istock, SS, sxp, revostock and pond5

more importantly, can y delete your images whenever you want at revostock and pond5?

and most importantly, is it wise to send to these sites

that's the reason for sure,
but it is way too long imo,
first, SS is increasing its prices every year, and they should have some stats about their customer behaviour, they are not doing it for the first time,
second, imo, they will increase .5 cent most probably as previous years,
third, again imo 2.5 months is a big gap between the price increase and commission increase,
and finally, they may calculate the difference of the old and new commission's at the end of the 2.5 months and pay it to the contributors,
for sure there will be old customers with old credits but, i am willing to take .30 for old credits and get higher for new credits
what do you think?
and sum of all, i am happy about the increase this way or that way  )

news is very nice,
but since the price increase will be in march 3th,
2 months for the commission increase seems to be a little long, doesnt it?
US dollar is very weak, new customer price increase will be negative on sales, and
we have to wait for 2 months for the rise :S

very nice topic,
i shoot a lot of photos for tracing lately, and i am building my people sil.s with these, but it is not very easy to do and i wonder how the other guys do 100's of people sil.s and send them in 1 go to SS
i think micro's should ask for the source file, if it is a drawing or digital render, they should ask the source files as istock does,
i am sure in the future they will, but i dont know how much will it take :S

i think customers search for a keyword, and while looking at the search results they enter one of your images,
then go to your portfolio, and buy a very irrelevant image with the keyword they searched
i hope that's the case
