BSP is a nice steady trickle of sales and a regular pay-out, but it never seems to speed up, your experience? SY
-
It's a nice steady trickle. I did really well one month, but sales are very consistent otherwise.
-
I have very regular, reliable sales from Bigstock. They have been steadily increasing over the last few months.
-
no real increase for me, maybe new pricings will bring some extra in december.
-
They are 2-3 % of my sales, so not really worth talking about. They did have 77% growth in November after really bad October.
-
They were my first payout (which their threshold is very low) but it was my first and sales continue to come. I like them.

i've just this one rejected on bigstock, beleve me or not:
Reason: Poor composition or cropped subject - many times NOT cropping subject makes photo more useable generally :-) thanks
what makes me happy in this reason is a smile. like this non-professional novice rejector really feels he said or made something funny.
anybody here knows an address on BigStock where i should write a complain about this smart smiling guy?
-
Мне кажется, это смайлик у них в стандартном ответе забит.

Ehm, what do you mean? SY
-
Ops.... Sorry, I replied in Russian.
I think this smile is a part of standard comment. Nothing personal.
-
@Talya
;D Happened to me before ;D One time I wrote a long post for the German forum only to realize that I had written all in English ;-) SY
@Lev
I think Talya is right, the smiley is in the standard rejection included, as far as I remember. Shows how few rejections you get that you didn't remember that ;D ;D ;D SY
-
indeed, i never got "bad cropping rejection" on non-cropped portrait before ;]

I just get some strange rejections
Example #1: [[Exposure
(http://69.90.174.249/photos/display_pic_with_logo/9174/9174,1197146840,2.jpg)
What wrong with exposure ???
Example #2: Blurriness, sorry.. a little too blurry
(http://69.90.174.251/photos/display_pic_with_logo/9174/9174,1197148146,2.jpg)
This shallow DOF image made with blade sharpness macro lens
Sharpness in the right place :-\
Example #3: [[Exposure problem - too dark
(http://69.90.174.253/photos/display_pic_with_logo/9174/9174,1197532005,1.jpg)
Is it to dark? I have calibrated my displays. On both this picture looks good.
May be inspector don't know about calibration?
About 20 rejections like that :o

Sorry Andrey, but your links don't work, information about how to post images/ links in the forum you can find Here (http://photographicfreedom.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=337.0) and I fear you can't post images that have been rejected as they are only visible to you but not public. Hope that helps, SY
-
well, after complaining on this forum, i've got my corporate cowboy accepted by BS in a few hours.
one who took care of this action - thank you!
