looks like fotolia ranking finally started to show "7 days rank" again.
what's your nubmers, my friends?

It is always encouraging to see 7 days rank to be higher than overall rank. In fact, I tracked my statistics for last year, and I consistently climbed the ranks. Unfortunately, there were no rankings for the past 2-3 months, but now that they are back, I can see that the positive trend continued. I think my right place in the worldwide hierarchy is somewhere towards the end of the first 100, may be 150. (excluding Istock exclusives, of course).
And I'm proud that this was achieved without notoriously popular "people shots". "Shooting people" is illegal in my country ;D But seriously speaking though, I will start shooting people very soon. I can now see that this somewhat limits my growth, and God knows what I have lost so far by preferring to concentrate on isolations mainly.

can you tell us how many sales you have there overall if it's not a secret?
i had 7823 so far and have overall rank 25. it makes us a neighbours, my friend. ;] if your sales nubmer is somewhere near - it's working right. system counts money your images generated, not sales ammount, but sill i believe some averages must be similar.

7826 with rank of 24... I just can't believe that I climbed back up the ranks without submitting images?! at some point I was down in the 40's

so my rough estimate about sells number worked out perfectly. we were never so close, my friend and we are virtually on the same place now ;]

hahaha... no skill in getting from the 40's to 24 !! it just means that somewhere the FT search results were pretty screwy and other peoples images wouldn't show...

well. if we are numbers 24 and 25 and he is the next one ahead of us... then I assume he must be number 23 on the ranking target? or is my logic flawed? (by the way, I never though an "animal shooter" would outsell me in stock :D )

it shows some random delirium you can find same names at the beginning and at the end. it also shows sapphire what really don't.
I have been thinking about that ranking.. It shows me as emerald, but I am not emerald yet?! I haven't had 10,000 downloads.
Also, accordingly, the rank doesn't seem to take into account what kind of sales you had (you could have 5,000 $50 sales and still be ranked at number 600)

I'm surprised to see that my portfolio outperforms yours on 7 day basis. Your portfolio is much bigger and has excellent people shots of which I have none.
I'm targeting top-100 within next 3-4 months - currently 154th all time rank. Not an easy task with other full-time job, but I'm very persistent.

Well your numbers make me feel a bit better.
I'm at 10223 overall and 4988 for the week but I only have 36 images and have had 6 dls in December alone.

p.s.: But I'm not really a photographer, got my first ever camera December last year. I'm pretty proud of what I've accomplished till now. It's been a great hobby.

yeah we went up in the overall by an amzing 1 position up to 845
however our 7 days rank has never been higher at 646 now.
I know compared to some of you about 620 places behind but an increase never the less considering our 2500 ranking in december.
