Excellent article, Lev! Most of the articles I've read are either too short and sound like an advertisement, or they are so lengthy that it would take a day or two to read it. LOL

this article exists for a year (with constant uptates) in Russian and considered the best article on subject existing.
actually most of russian forum members here are people involved to this market by this article at different times.

I can not tell you how happy I am that you are translating some of your info into English.
Very generous of you Lev and something I have come to understand we can expect from you. It also shows in your work and the way that your models respond to you. They know they can trust you and that you only have the very best of intentions for them.
Rare and becoming rarer these days.

Susan, i really don't thing it's so rare. Most of photogs have only best intentions for model, for sure. i can hardly remember the opposite. i'm quite sure each and every photographer on this forum can be trusted by model and have best intentions. what i want to believe in now - the models can be trusted and have best intention.
photography is not so much about the models. 75% or the art is always an artist. 25% goes to all the rest, model included. i love my models as we all here do, but what i always teach people is "photography is about photographer". so main question is not "can model trust you", but "can you trust the model". what i advice photogs nowadays is "be picky. never work with everybody. chose only ones who deserve it." photographer is a master, model is an assistant. in a good co-operative meaning. may sound unusual, but that's the way things are.

Lev as usual I need to be more precise in my use of words, I tend to get lazy... I was referencing your generosity in kind spirit and in general!
Something I have noticed that has stayed constant over the few years I have know you.
LOL... I am sure you are absolutely right about the rest and it has given me some food for thought... if you ever make it to the states I will buy you a drink and we can talk about my theory's regarding your words of wisdom!
