If they don't sign but it is clear on the photographs that they don't mind to be photographed, like in a family meeting (unless it is the maffia) and you only use them for your own promotion you do not have to fear for problems. IF one of your family members tell you he/she does not like his/her face on your site you take it off. But no judge will force you to take them down. The portrait rights the portraitee (is that good english?) has will be enforced by a judge ONLY if it is clear that your subject (I know that is good english) is damaged by you displaying him/her. For instance if you use his/her photo on a dating site this might be the case. But not on your own portfolio. If you are planning to use any of your photo's commercially then you will need their signature under a modelreleaseform.

DNF, I would love to spend a day just watching you work. I bet I would learn more in a day watching you than I would in a year on microstock.

Ok we left Crestock about 3 months (i guess) ago because of really horrible rejects were every one of our other 11 agencies had no problem with it. Our own special way of knowing that if ShutterStock and Istock and Dreamstime are accepting it must be a good file since they al have dseem te seek different submissions and ways to inspect them.
We are willing to give it another try though (for sales sake) but we do need some help since we are talking about a bunch of about 1500 files and bandwidth in belgium is, sadly enough, not cheap.

 Talya, Its a great feeling when you see your portfolio and your sales growing.

I bought  a car last month, totally paid for with my photography earnings. Not all microstock, but a good part of it was. That made me very proud and happy. 

What!!! A car??? It took us one year to finance a 70-200 2.8L out of microstock and people keep telling us we should be in the top 10.
