What kind of illustrations do you make?

Most of my illustrations are fractals and they are mostly done in Apophysis, like this one:

It even made "Best image of the day" at Crestock some weeks ago, but I must admit I don't know why, I find it OK, but not really outstanding, SY

I do illustrations in Photoshop and Illustrator. I just started using 3ds max and doing some 3d renders of models I have made.

i use freehand still :(
hehe, then export to AI for final adjustments and path closing, etc,

and after that i export some of these to PS, for merging with one of my of textures :) here are examples

I use Bryce, 3ds Max, Apophysis, Terragen, Ultra Fractal, Illustrator, Chaoscope,Photoshop, Poser, Daz studio, Zbrush, and any combination of these.

Ok, I know, I know. I am an illustation whore!  ;D ;D ;) I just love making pictures.

How did you manage do learn all these, I know and use the main fractal programs, and have a basic knowledge of corel draw, but then I looked at 3d renders and uff!, I downloaded blender, and it is sooo complicated. Are you an autodidact or did you go to art school to learn all these? SY
