HDR anybody?

I would like to experiment with hdr images, does anybody here have experience/ tips etc What programs do you recommend? SY

photomatix "basic" free version,
which has the basic actions you'll need (combine 2, 3 images and tone mapping)
or the program as a PS plugin, which is cheaper than the standalone version (99$)
