я вот что написал сегодня Джошу (и в CC поставил крестоковского босса):
Hi Josh (Hi Geir Are, i hope you're reading it too. please find some time and take a look at my latest rejections. they say i focus under acceptance level. can you believe it?),
1/160 shutter speed i use is an industry standard for studio lighting shooting, Josh. real speed is a speed your flash gives. it's ABC. photoghaphic school 1st grade. my flash is giving 1/4200. i really feel no shame about it.
considering the focusing - crestock is the only one now having problems with the way i focus. no problems with istock, no problems with the others. i'm in a good touch with istock inspectors and admins now so i'm qiute sure i would be awared if i had any focusing problems with my studio artworks. Hearing my pictures are not focused good enough to be accepted even at smaller size makes me smile instead of feeling any shame.
i believe we are in "pickier than getty" situation again, wich is clear "lose - lose" action. i feel no need to argue this time, i'm just giving it up. accept whatever you want. accepted or not, nothing really sells at crestock, so not a big deal. Crestock is making about 0.5% of my stock income now. it means "virtually nothing". why waste time trying to prove i'm good enough for Crestock to be at least accepted.
sorry for bothering you this time. i'm kinda used to have somewhat "personal" relationship with Crestock, but i think i'm maybe not really good enough for it. no problem, no hard feelings, no need to beat a dead horse. i'm switching to "upload and forget" mode now instead of caring to get my artworks inside Crestock collection. accept whatever you want, reject whatever you want.
have a good day,
lev
